A Baton Rouge native building the reports and dashboards that pull answers out of Vista.
Michael is a Baton Rouge native, born and raised, and went to LSU, where he got his start working IT on campus. He bounced around a few majors before landing on ISDS, information systems and decision sciences, with a capstone in Power BI. From there, Michael built reporting systems for a local diagnostic lab and then for a few Baton Rouge hospitals before a headhunter connected him with Converge.
Michael is a senior Power BI developer, which means he builds the reports and dashboards clients need but can't get straight out of Vista. Some of it is SSRS, the paginated reports you'd print for a binder or a meeting, and some is interactive Power BI dashboards. Right now that's a lot of high-priority reporting work, with more on the way. Outside of work, Michael is a big sports guy, an LSU football diehard, and enough of a gamer to be heading to PAX West this year.
