A career in tax, accounting, and CFO work, now the fractional finance chief for a handful of Converge clients.
Jill grew up in Marksville, went to high school in Monroe, and finished her accounting degree at ULM before settling back in Baton Rouge in 1994. She started out in tax at KPMG, spent time at another local firm, and then moved into industry as the CFO of a local architecture firm. Jill has been working with Marcel, off and on, for about 20 years now. This is her third stint, and she thinks that says something.
Jill handles accounting services for a handful of clients: monthly financials, payroll, quarterly payroll tax returns, and the adjusting entries behind all of it. It's essentially a fractional CFO role, the same work a small business would want from an in-house finance chief without carrying one full time. What keeps bringing her back is the people; surrounded by a good team, the work stays easy to love. Outside of it you'll find Jill doing pilates, reading, spending time with family, or enjoying a good glass of wine by the pool.
