Sixteen years at Converge, equal parts outsourced accountant and get-it-figured-out systems fixer.
Jana is a Baton Rouge native, and her accounting background started at an architecture firm, where she first got into construction accounting. A friend passed her resume to Marcel and Brandon, and 16 years later Jana is still here, one of the OGs. Most of that time her world was accounting; lately she's shifted more toward the systems side.
These days Jana is a bit of a Swiss army knife, with a Rosie the Riveter bobblehead on her desk to match. She does payroll, GL, and job costing, helps configure Trimble to fit each client, and gets pulled into whatever needs figuring out. The project she'll never forget was a major audit for a client with nothing automated, just thousands of paper tickets the team had to get into a spreadsheet by hand, and pulling it off remains one of her proudest moments here. What keeps her here is the flexibility and the people; in 16 years she's never missed one of her kids' milestones. Outside of work, Jana is happiest in her flowers or at the beach.
