Almost twenty years in construction operations, now bringing that contractor's-eye view to Vista implementations.
Melissa got her start in construction back in 2006 with an electrical contractor, spending years in operations and process improvement, from managing the financial side of a fleet to rolling out new technology. When that company implemented Vista, Melissa was the liaison for the project and caught on quickly enough that the implementer, EMCOR, hired her onto the team. That's where she met Marcel and worked alongside him and Stevie on implementations in San Diego and Northern California.
Marcel reached out a couple of months ago about bringing that operations focus to Converge. Melissa's background is the operations side of the software, things like equipment, job costing, service management, and project setup, and because she came up working for a contractor, she speaks the same language as the clients she helps. Melissa works remotely from Utah, where her family camps and hikes just about every weekend. She's also a type 1 diabetes advocate, and she's writing a book for parents of kids with type 1.
