Keyur came to the U.S. from India in 2006 for a master's and has spent almost 18 years in IT since, based in the Baton Rouge area since 2011. A friend introduced him to Marcel, and after a year with the team part time, Keyur came on full time, all remote. That's about three years now.
His specialty is integration: connecting different systems and bringing legacy data into new ones. At Converge, that makes Keyur the Chroma guy. Chroma is the portal that links Viewpoint with whatever else a client runs, from ADP payroll to custom applications, and Keyur architects how it all fits together. The work he's proudest of is the Newtron project. The team took a Chroma build that wasn't being used, stabilized it, extended it, added iPad and iPhone apps, and delivered an unbilled analysis report that took real digging to get right. Away from the desk, Keyur plays cricket and pickleball, loves to hike, and will eat any vegetarian food at any spice level you can find.
