Two decades in Viewpoint Vista, most of it spent deep in client data, conversions, and the customizations that make the software fit.
Bryan is originally from Oregon, though he's been in Missouri for a few years now. He got his start back in 2001 on the phone support team for Vista, and kept gravitating toward the data. While a customer walked him through a problem, Bryan would already be digging into the system in SQL. That pulled him into data conversion work, and he's been doing it ever since. At Converge, Bryan works on the implementation side: conversions, customizations, and company copies.
A couple of projects stand out. Bryan has been building a deep customization for Lightning Ventures around their material dispatch ticketing, which scratches the creative, problem-solving itch. And he rebuilt a company copy tool first written years ago (self-taught SQL and all) that the team now leans on across client work. Outside of the office, Bryan is building up a woodworking shop with a couple of CNC machines, and since moving to Missouri has traded trout fishing for a crash course in bass.
